Corriander chicken and An Award!

Thanks to vahchef,for this very delicious recipe.Snice long time im planning to try this corriander chicken n Nilgiri Korma from vahchef,atlast today i got the time to try out this corrinader chicken with slight variation from vahchef.we really liked this n had a bit more than usual :-)


Ingredient
  • 1Cup - Chicken
  • 1bunch - Corriander leaves
  • 1no - Onion ( finely chopped )
  • 1no - Tomato ( finely chopped )
  • 3nos - Dry red chillies
  • 1tsp - Corriander seeds (crushed)
  • 1/2Cup -Curd
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2tsp - Cashew nut powder
  • 1/4tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp - Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

Procedure


Marinate the chicken for 30mins with red chilli powder,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,salt n 2tsp curd.

Grind the Corriander leaves with dry red chilli with little water.

Heat the oil in a pan,add onion n fry till it turns transparent,Add ginger garlic paste n fry raw smell goes off.

Add tomato n cook till it turns mushy.add crushed corriander seeds n cashew powder and pour the corriander/red chilli mix along with 1/4 Cup water and bring it to boil.

Add the marinated chicken,1/4 Cup curd ,mix well n cover with lid and cook in a low-medium flame till the chicken turns tender.Stir in btw.

Serve hot with jeera rice/chappathi/roti.
